Transcription services

We transcribe both digital and analog files. However, considering the quality of tape and the time taken to transcribe, we suggest that you send us files in digital format.

In case the format of the file available with you is not mentioned here, kindly email regarding other formats and conversion. If possible, we will convert your given format to one suitable for transcription.

After you have placed an order, we provide you with a unique username and password for our FTP server. You do not have to worry about the file size. We do not have any limit on the size of the files you can upload. Read about how to use FTP in our resources section to learn more.

Analog tape:

The analog tapes sent by you are converted into digital format before transcription. Please post them to:

Transcription from analog tapes requires additional time and effort; we therefore charge extra fees for the same. You only need to send us the tapes and we will take care of the conversion and transcription.

You can also convert an analog tape to a digital file on your own. You only need a shareware to do this. It is a one-time investment and you will not incur any other additional expenses thereafter. However, this is recommended only if you use transcription services frequently.
