Transcription is not as simple as it seems. There are several factors that determine the quality of a transcript, some of which are listed below:
- Accent of speakers
- Recording equipment used
- Recording format
- Background noise
- Surrounding environment
Quality audio results in quality transcripts. However, professional recording is required to achieve a quality audio, which is not always possible. Keeping this in mind, we have created a special process that is technology driven and enables us to improve the quality of the audio. We use sophisticated, high-tech equipment as well as tailor-made tools to clear the audio of unnecessary noise and provide you with authentic transcripts. We use amplifiers and equalizers to enhance the volume and reduce the background noise.
At the time of transcribing, we refer to reference material related to the files. We also undertake terminology and proper noun (company names, person names, etc.) verification on the Internet. This makes our transcripts authentic and reliable. Our tools help us consistently provide you with high-quality transcriptions.
In summary, the following is a list of special services or equipment that we provide or use:
- Amplifiers and equalizers to increase the volume of the speakers and reduce the background noise
- Tailor-made proprietary tools to enhance audio
- Cross checking of content with reference material
- Verification of terminology and proper nouns on the Internet

* Please note that we do not use voice recognition software because it results in very bad quality transcription and one generally spends more time correcting errors than it takes to transcribe the entire file directly.
